MSPO 2026: Poland’s Defence Expo Exceeds Expectations
From 8 to 11 September 2026, Kielce became a focal point for the global defence industry. The 34th International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) brought together leading manufacturers, technology providers and decision-makers, creating a dynamic environment for innovation, networking and international business.
The numbers speak for themselves: 1,209 exhibitors from 43 countries and approximately 45,000 visitors. With demand for exhibition space exceeding expectations, additional temporary halls were opened to accommodate more exhibitors. This remarkable turnout reflects the growing importance of the defence sector and MSPO’s position as a key meeting point for the international industry.
More Than an Exhibition
MSPO is not just about showcasing advanced equipment. It is where businesses meet potential partners, exchange expertise and explore new opportunities for cooperation.
The strong presence of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ), alongside Polish and international defence companies, highlighted the capabilities of Poland’s defence industry and the growing importance of cross-border collaboration. For companies looking to expand into Central and Eastern Europe, MSPO offers a valuable opportunity to connect with industry stakeholders and gain first-hand insight into the market.
Our Highlights from MSPO 2026
The interest in this year’s exhibition was impossible to overlook. As visitors, we experienced it first-hand, waiting nearly two hours to enter the exhibition halls.
Inside, the event offered valuable opportunities to connect with industry professionals and engage with procurement representatives. These direct conversations provided insight into market needs, potential partnerships and opportunities for future cooperation — making MSPO an important event not only for discovering new technologies, but also for building business relationships.

Poland’s Defence Market: An Opportunity Worth Exploring
Poland is strengthening its defence capabilities, opening new opportunities for international manufacturers, suppliers and technology companies. Through the EU’s SAFE programme, Poland has access to approximately €43.7 billion in loans to support defence investment and strengthen its industrial capabilities. Key areas include air and missile defence, ammunition, counter-drone systems and military technologies.
The opportunities go beyond traditional defence equipment. Dual-use technologies — including AI, cybersecurity, sensors and autonomous systems — are also becoming increasingly relevant to the defence sector.
For companies from Germany, Austria and Switzerland (the DACH region), this creates an opportunity to explore new partnerships, supply chains and routes into the Polish market. The key is knowing where to start and who to connect with.
